The Duane Physics building at 2000 Colorado Avenue, on the eastern side of the main CU campus. It is a complex with two square 11-story towers, directly across the street from the stadium. Enter from Colorado Avenue, either at the east end of the building or at the base of the Gamow Tower. To get to Duane from the New West Inn, Boulder Inn, or Boulder Outlook: Walk under 28th street, heading west (toward the mountains), using the underpass across the street from the New West Inn. Turn right and walk north to Colorado Avenue (the only major street). Turn left (west) on Colorado and keep walking. Duane is on the south side of the street, right across from the main entrance to Folsom Field. From the Millennium: Walk out the rear side of the hotel, toward Boulder Creek. Turn right onto the Boulder Creek path. Turn left onto Folsom St (the first overpass), and walk up the hill to Colorado Av. Turn right (west) onto Colorado and follow the directions above. From the University Club: Exit the northeast side of the building (away from Broadway). Walk around the right-hand side of the parking garage. Turn left in front of the Imig Music Building. Follow the street (18th) as it turns right onto Colorado Avenue. Gamow Tower is straight ahead. From the Boulderado: Just outside the hotel at the corner of Spruce and Broadway, wait for the bus, route "Hop." (A Boulderism; there's also Skip, Jump, Leap, Bound, etc.) The Hop will take about 15 minutes, and drop you on Colorado outside Duane. Or, it's also a pleasant walk; it takes 20-30 minutes. Walk south on Broadway to Pennsylvania Avenue, then turn left into the campus. Walk east on the large quad until you get to Norlin Library. Pass to the right of Norlin. When you come to a street, Duane will be the building with the two towers straight ahead. From the Foot of the Mountain: Walk east on Arapahoe to 9th St. Catch the bus route "Hop" southbound on 9th. The Hop will take about 15 minutes, and drop you on Colorado outside Duane. If you wish to drive to campus, parking is available in the Euclid Auto Park garage for $1.50 per hour. From southbound Broadway, turn left at Euclid and the garage will be on your left 1/2 block down. Duane is one block north and one block east of the garage. To Duane from the Euclid garage: Exit the east end of the garage (away from the mountains). Turn left on the street, then follow the street as it curves to the right and becomes Colorado Avenue. The Gamow Tower is ahead of you on the right hand side of the street, overhanging the sidewalk.
